Thanks for the reminder! I'm going to be on it, but I can tell you I'm already strongly biased against Margaret Atwood. I heard her interviewed and the question was "why do you write speculative fiction?" She then went on to make a strong distinction between speculative fiction and science fiction, saying the former was a way to look at social alternatives, take ideas to their limit etc, while the latter had none of that and was just rocket ships and dumb stuff like that and she never reads it. I wish I could have slapped her through the radio.
That kind of shit really bothers me. Its hard enough to become a published author without people denigrating specific genres. She also had this (somewhat tongue-in-cheek) suggestion that someone build a book signing robot so she would't have to go on book tours. Weak.
